Shipping to UK addresses

Low value orders (less than £60): Carriage Free by Royal Mail 1st Class Recorded Delivery.
High value orders (total over £60): Carriage Free by Royal Mail Special Delivery. (size and weight permitting!)
Heavy items: Carriage Free by ParcelForce 24 Hour Delivery.

If your order is for less than £60 in value, we can optionally ship by Royal Mail Special Delivery at a small surcharge - just advise us via the Your notice to us section that you wish us to use the Special Delivery service when you place your order.


Shipping to the Channel Islands
As of 6th May 2008, it is possible that you may have to pay GST once goods arrive in the Channel Isalnds.

Shipping to non-UK delivery addresses

We are happy to quote shipping costs for orders from outside UK - just complete the order form and Submit it and we will advise you of the total cost (items + carriage) once we receive acceptable quotations from the shipping companies. Any orders to be sent to non-EC destinations will be shipped exclusive of UK VAT. Also please note that you may be liable for IMPORT DUTY and SALES TAX at the point of import to your country. This may vary depending on the declared value of the items purchased, so please check with your local customs office concerning this potential extra cost.

Shipping charges (non-UK)

We have started to list the weights of each product so you can estimate the weight of your entire order. All items are weighed NETT of any packing required for export shipping. So, please add 250 g to the item weight(s) to allow for the necessary export packing.

Please be aware of certain things: 1) For order weights up to a total of 1.75 kg (or 2 kg including the 250 g packing allowance), we recommend International Signed For Delivery which is an EXTRA COST INSURED AIRMAIL service, at a reasonable price.

2) If the total weight of your order exceeds 2 kg (including packing), then shipping costs to non-UK destinations may be reduced if we can ship as a number of separate consignments (all of which must be less than the 2 kg limit). Otherwise, the shipping cost WILL be expensive as there is a 2 kg weight limit if sending AirMail at Small Packet Rate. However, we will advise the shipping charges in this instance.

3) If your total order weight is over 2 kg, then it is likely to be too expensive to ship to you as we would need to ship as one single consignment using the ParcelForce Euro 48 service (which does not have a 2 kg weight limit. But unless the order is well over GBP 100 value, the shipping quotation is most likely to be too expensive.

4) For VERY HEAVY ITEMS (such as loudspeakers), we tend to ship by pallet service, as this is the most cost effective. We use DFDS and they ship to most of Europe via truck. We can insure your order reasonably cheaply. Single parcels, may be sent instead by Euro 48 service at reasonable rates.

Shipping Quotations
You can also email us for a shipping quotation. Let us know which products you want and we will quote you an overall price which includes shipping and optional goods in transit insurance. A door-to-door service can also be arranged. (Note: All weights shown on our website are for the individually packed products and this is exclusive of any packaging required for shipping).
